Getting Started Online

About Online Credit Courses

Online credit courses are accessible using a standard web browser. The online credit courses are equivalent to on-campus courses and maintain the same academic standards. Each course is managed by a qualified Metropolitan Community College instructor who provides information, guides you, prompts discussion, helps with your assignments, answers your questions and grades your work.

OPE电子竞技官网 packs online learning with meaningful interactions delivered in flexible formats:

  • OPE电子竞技官网 Live Online (Remote) - Scheduled classes online, where students log in with instructors and peers (on the same day, at the same time), during scheduled class times. Any hands-on or applied learning also occurs remotely, with no on-campus activity required.
  • OPE电子竞技官网 Anytime (Online) - Classes are unscheduled and students log in to a program at any time on their schedule to complete their work.
  • OPE电子竞技官网 Blended - Courses that combine elements of online (OPE电子竞技官网 Anytime), videoconferencing (OPE电子竞技官网 Live Online) and on-campus learning, with on-campus time reserved for active learning and application, splitting online and on-campus time as course content dictates.

About Online Noncredit Courses

Continuing Education offers a wide variety of topics - hundreds of classes - delivered via online through a partnership with Ed2Go, ProTrain and VisionPoint. We offer a wide range of highly interactive short courses and videos that you may take entirely over the Internet. All have expert instructors, many nationally known authors.

New Student Orientation

The New Student Orientation Online is intended for currently registered new and continuing students, and should take about 45 minutes to complete. Since your progress is saved, it does not have to be finished in one sitting. If you must stop, you can return to finish it later. You may also return to view information again if you like. We encourage all new and continuing students to maintain regular visits and communications with their Enrollment Navigator or Academic Advisor for additional information and guidance.
